One run was the difference at the ballpark as the Jefferson Park Penguins
defeated the Tombstone Huckleberries in 10 innings 4 to 3.

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings.  Finally, Jefferson Park
pulled the game out in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Javy
Lopez opened up the rally as he banged out a single.  Adam Dunn was next and
he bombed a two-run dinger (his 10th of the season) giving Jefferson Park the
win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy.  Jefferson Park out-hit
Tombstone for the game, 15 hits to 4.  

The victory was credited to Armando Benitez(2-4) who went 1 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Troy Percival(1-3) was charged with the loss in relief.  His
ERA increased from 2.87 to 3.86 as he allowed 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning.

The Jefferson Park ballclub's record now stands at a division leading 49-34.
Tombstone has a record of 47-36 after the loss.
